Music for Schools and Care Homes
Music for Schools
I am able to provide live demonstrations and workshops promoting the violin and encouraging children and adults to see classical music from a new angle.
Each performance is tailored to suit different age groups and focuses on either the music and its history or the technology behind the electric violin.
The workshops involve participation and are designed for those studying music to learn about using electric instruments both live and in the recording studio. I have a proven record as a violin teacher and a personality that gains instant rapport with children of all ages. I hold an advanced CRB disclosure.
Testimonial
“Abi’s performance was innovative, inspiring and above all fun! The children heard music from Ireland, America and Hungary played over toe-tapping backing tracks on a 200 year old violin. Then Abi produced an electric violin and delighted her audience by combining brilliant playing with the wonders of modern sound technology. It was an entertaining way to learn to see an old instrument in a new light.”

Music for Care Homes
I also regularly perform in residential and nursing homes featuring music from around the world in a variety of styles. These performances are designed to be entertaining and stimulating. The use of an acoustic violin allows me to move amongst the audience and give people the chance to feel the vibrations from the instrument.
Please contact me if you would like me to come and play some music in you care home or provide a workshop or demonstration in your school.
