Music for Dressage – Training and Relaxation CDs for your Horse

Dressage Training CD

Dressage Training CDsThis is designed to liven up your schooling. Working from a video of your horse I will compile a CD containing various styles of music to suit your horse’s basic tempo. Each track can be repeated at various tempi to help you and your horse work with consistent rhythm. If your horse tends to rush, this can help slow him down. If he drags his feet it can help move him forward.

Each CD is tailored to the clients needs. You can choose walk trot or canter music or a combination of all three. You can have one of each pace or ten of each pace. You can try classical, folk, rock or jazz. You can choose the music you want editing or let me surprise you.

Each original track costs £5. Repeated tracks at different speeds cost £1 each.

Relaxation CD

Relaxation Music CD for HorsesA resting horse has a heartbeat of 25 to 30 beats per minute. So relaxing music for horses needs to be very slow, slower than normal music. Sounds need to be softer and soothing.

Many people use a radio to keep horses amused whilst stabled and horses do seem to appreciate the sounds. The music we listen to and enjoy has a fast beat (120 beats per minute is common in popular music). This can make us feel energised, upbeat and ready to roll! When we want to chill out we might listen to something slower(60 beats per minute) to help us wind down. It is no coincidence that these beats are within the range of our own heart beats. Perhaps this music could have a similar effect on a sensitive creature like the horse?

I have produced a CD of ten soothing tracks designed to make your horse feel at ease. Whether your horse needs to be calmed during transit or needs a tranquil treat in his stable. Why not try some specially composed horse music?
